Reception for Gwinnett Artist Harvey Moriarty

The LONA Gallery and The Aurora Theatre present an exhibit featuring the work of Gwinnett resident, Harvey Moriarty.  The exhibit is displayed in the lobby of the Aurora during the run of its  current production "Sirens" through February 6th. 

Moriarty's specializes in watercolor and is known for the fine detail he creates in his work, especially his wildlife protraits, his favorite subject matter.   Moriarty's work is well known and he has been commissioned by former President Jimmy Carter, the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and others to create special pieces.  Mr. Moriaty has expanded his talent to include working with turquoise and silver to create exquisite jewelry based on Native American designs. 

The public is invited to meet Mr. Moriarty and view his art and jewelry at a  reception Saturday, January 22nd at the Aurora Theatre.  Admission is free.  A portion of the proceeds from all sales will go to benefit the Aurora Theatre.
