The Lawrenceville Square held record breaking crowds of over 8,000 people on Thursday, July 3rd as residents and visitors filled the streets during the City of Lawrenceville’s 9th annual PRELUDE celebration to honor America’s Independence Day. The event featured scenes and music from the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway musical, South Pacific – performed by the award-winning Aurora Theatre followed by fireworks. The 2014 PRELUDE event was sponsored by the Lawrenceville Downtown Development Authority,Primrose School of Lawrenceville North and the Gwinnett Daily Post.
