The New Lawrenceville “Spring Green 2012 Festival” is scheduled for Saturday, March 17. This annual event is held in downtown Lawrenceville and according to visitlawrenceville.com the event brought over 3,000 people to the Lawrenceville community last year.

This year the event is hoping to attract around 8,000 visitors and will include a 5K race, artist and craft booths as well as exposure for local businesses. This year the event will benefit three charities in the immediate Lawrenceville area, the Lawrenceville Police Department Benevolent Fund, Special Needs of Gwinnett and the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation.

Businesses and community members can play a part in this event by purchasing a booth, participating at various sponsorship levels, buying advertising space, volunteering at the event or running in the 5K. More information is available on the New Lawrenceville website.
