  Gina B. Collins, age 49 of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Memorial Service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, July 9, 2011 at NorthView Christian Church, Buford. Gina courageously battled cancer for 19 months. She was born in Clinton TN. on January 26, 1962, was a graduate of Tennessee Tech. and was an active member at NorthView Christian Church. She was preceded in death by step-brother, David Cox. Gina was survived by Husband: Randy Collins; Daughter: Sandy Collins, both of Lawrenceville. Father & Step-mother: William & Geraldine Brown, Clinton, TN.; Mother & Step-father: Clogene & Mike Armstrong, Lawrenceville; Brother & Sister-in-law: Michael & Diana Armstrong, Penrose, CO.; Sister-in-law: Kathy Cox, Oak Ridge, TN.; Nephews: Chester Armstrong, Seth Armstrong, Penrose, CO.; Niece: Katie Cox, Oak Ridge, TN.; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mountain View High School, Relay for Life 2351 Sunny Hill Rd., Lawrenceville, Ga. 30043 in Gina’s name. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, July 8, 2011 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home.

Clara “Poppy” Childers Gravitte of Lawrenceville, GA (formerly longtime resident of Gainesville, GA) passed away on July 5, 2011, at the age of 94. Clara was one of 12 children born to W.A. and Julia Fields. She was married to James Chess Childers for over thirty years until his death in 1970. She worked for Warren Featherbone Manufacturing Company for twelve years until she remarried Z. Paul Gravitte of Gainesville, GA in 1973. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and being devoted to her friends and family. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Childers Holland; two grandchildren, Jeff W. Holland and Amanda Holland Gregory; and three great granddaughters, Erin Holland, Grace Holland and Kinley Gregory.  The Service will be held Friday, July 8, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Gary Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at 5:00 P.M. at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 7 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M. Brandon Jay Hodges, age 14 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011. He was a student at Richard Hull Middle School in Duluth.

Survivors include his father, Joshua Matthew Hodges of Cumming; mother, Tina Dawn Brooks of Cumming; brother, Cameron Matthew Hodges of Cumming; sister, Corrissa Luann Hodges of Cumming; paternal grandparents, Tommy Jay and Betty Jean Hodges of Jackson Co.; maternal grandmother, Alice Kay Brooks of Cumming; paternal grandfather, Roy Lee Mauldin of Cumming; special aunt and uncle, Marie and Mike Sosebee of Lawrenceville.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 8that 10:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
