How Much Snow is Expected to Fall in Lawrenceville?

A winter storm watch has been issued for Tuesday through Wednesday.

First the extreme cold, and now snow is expected to hit Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County.Β

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch starting Tuesday morning and lasting until Wednesday afternoon. Our area could see up to two inches of snow from the storm.

The NWS warns there could be an accumulation of ice which could cause tree limbs to fall and cause power outages.Β

"Now is the time to prepare for this winter storm. Be sure to buy non perishable foods. Make contingency plans if you plan on traveling during this period," said the NWS in their weather statement.Β "If you can change your travel, do so before the event starts."

Snow flakes flew in parts of Lawrenceville earlier this month.
