Flight En Route to Lawrenceville Crashes, Kills Tucker Couple
Authorities say Sid Shah and Shama Gamkhar's plane was flying from Fernandina Beach, Fla. to Lawrenceville, Ga. when the accident happened in South Georgia.
A Georgia couple heading to Lawrenceville died in a plane crash in South Georgia Sunday.
The Bacon County coroner identified the couple as 58-year-old Sid Shah, of Tucker, and Shama Gamkhar according to the Associated Press.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen says the Hawker Beechcraft A36 left Fernandina Beach, Fla. Sunday. It was en route to Lawrenceville, Ga. when it crashed in a cluster of trees in Alma, Ga.
