Collins Hill Library Greets Cat In The Hat

Adults and children rediscover the magic of Dr. Seuss.

Collins Hill Library on 455 Camp Perrin Road, Lawrenceville, buzzed with activity in expectation of the arrival of the famous Dr. Seuss's character, Cat In The Hat. Children and their parents began to gather in anxious anticipation of the Cat's appearance until the growing volume of people caused the venue to be moved to a larger room.

Would it be possible for that Cat to jump right from the imaginative pages in a book into the real world? Of course, but his arrival was met with both laughter and tears! As soon as the Cat walked into the room, the cry of one youngster broke the silence, but she was quickly assured by her mom that there was nothing to fear.

Smiles broke out all over as youngsters rushed to be hugged by the big Cat or to give him a high five. It was definitely worth the wait to finally greet and meet the famous furry feline.
