Duke is a wonderful young dog who needs a great home! He is about 7 months old and weighs approximately 45 lbs. He will probably gain just a little more weight before he is full grown. Duke's momma was a Golden Retriever, and his dad was a traveling salesman, and a handsome one, from the looks of Duke. This pup is sleek and graceful, and sports a shiny jet black coat with touches of white. He is very striking. Poor Duke was adopted at a very young age by a great family. Sadly, their circumstances have changed and they can no longer care for Duke. So he is back with us, safe in foster care until we can find him a loving and permanent home. Duke's foster mom reports that he is sweet, gentle and affectionate. He LOVES attention, and will be a lap dog if you'll let him. He gets on well with the other dogs in his foster home. He is crate trained. Duke will make a fantastic pet for some lucky person or family. If you would like to meet him, please let us know!
Duke is fully vetted -- neutered, heart-worm negative, and current on vaccinations and de-worming. The adoption fee is $150 (cash only, please).
