Please help this family keep their cats together and out of the shelter Hello everyone. I am in a dire situation, and I need to find a new home for our 2 cats. They are brother and sister from the same litter. We have had them since they were six weeks old, and they are now 4 years old (both born on May 4, 2009).
The male cat, Tegan, is primarily outdoors whereas the female, Molly stays indoors. Tegan look like he is solid black, but in the sunlight you can see a lot of chocolate brown. Molly is your typical calico cat. The reason these two aren't together indoors is that even though they do get along sometimes, Tegan was antagonizing Molly so they had to be separated from each other. We found out that Tegan likes being outside more than he was inside, and he does take care of the rodents in the yard too.
It just tears both me and my wife up that we have to find them a new home because all they have ever known is the both of us, and we care about them deeply. If anyone needs any more information, please let me know and thank you for helping us out in this matter.
