Meet Our Family of the Month; A Trusted Partnership with Parents

Primrose School of Five Forks selects the Cain family as the Family of the Month for March!

Wiley and Heather are the proud parents of Piper, a student in our Preschool 2 classroom.  The Cain Family also has 5 dogs:  Patti (large mixed breed), Lena (Australian Shepherd), Sammy (Lhasa Poo), Jonjon (Malti Poo), and Bella (Chihuahua).  They also have a cat named Lucille and Chinese Dwarf Hamsters named Penny and Pink.  All of their pets are rescues with
the exception of the hamsters, which are classroom pets at Heather’s school.

The Cain family loves being outside, whether playing ball, swinging, swimming, building sandcastles or working on projects together.  Their favorite get away is the family lake house in Lake Como, Florida, where they love being on or in the water with lots of family around.  They enjoy laughing together and make up silly songs with frequent accompaniment with Wiley on the guitar.  They also have fun reading or being “read to” by Piper.  She loves to play teacher and always seems to have a whole class full of unseen kids to lead around.

Piper and her mom love to cook and bake.  Piper enjoys helping her dad work on their old VW bus and bug projects.   Piper is awesome with a socket wrench!

Piper had her first plane trip to Texas in January to see her Uncle Josh graduate from Naval Corpsman School.  They are looking forward to vising him in Maryland and exploring Washington DC before too long.

When Piper grows up she wants to be a surfer girl (Josh was stationed in Hawaii), a Mommy and an airplane pilot.

The Cain family shares their Primrose experience:
When the Cains were asked why they chose Primrose School of Five Forks for Piper, they replied, “When we changed roles from grandparents to parents due to family circumstances, our first priority was to find quality daycare that had an emphasis on learning.  A referral from a former employee brought us to Primrose School of Five Forks.  Once I met the caring staff, viewed the immaculate and safe environment, and witnessed the happy children interacting with quality curriculum, I was hooked.

As an educator, I know how important these formative years are and the ability that young children have to absorb and learn whatever is expected of them.  Primrose School of Five Forks meets high academic expectations through age appropriate learning opportunities as easily as child’s play! Primrose has been a blessing in Piper’s life, as well as ours!  The family events that are held, the holiday celebrations, and the community involvement that Primrose is involved in are very important to us, but the genuine love and care that our family receives from this fabulous staff are what makes it family.  We can’t thank you enough for providing exactly what our family was looking for.”

Congratulations to the Cain Family!
