Some Gwinnett County offices are closing early and some meetings and events have been cancelled today due to the inclement weather. In general, Gwinnett County Government offices will be open during normal business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., however, some offices may be closed due to weather conditions in specific areas. You may want to call the office you plan to visit before leaving home.

All Tax Commissioner offices, including all motor vehicle tag offices, are closing at 2:30 p.m. today. Online services are still available at www.gwinnetttaxcommissioner.com.

Cancellations include Gwinnett Juvenile Court evening classes at the Gwinnett County Detention Center and a ribbon cutting ceremony for phase two of the Gwinnett Senior Services Center.

In addition, the Board of Commissioners’ regularly scheduled public hearing on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. has been cancelled.
