GGC Open House scheduled for Oct. 19

Georgia Gwinnett College will open its doors Saturday, Oct. 19, to prospective students interested in
attending the college in 2014.
This will be the first Open House to include information about the college’s new, eagerly awaited,
baccalaureate program in nursing, which will start the fall semester of 2014.
Open House sessions will cover the admissions process, financial aid, GGC’s unique student success
programs, transferring credits to GGC and services offered to the disabled. Prospective students will be
able to meet with advisors who can discuss various majors. There are special sessions for parents.
“We highly recommend that high school seniors and their parents start visiting colleges now, if they have
not already done so,” said Tee Mitchell, director of Admissions. “Choosing a college is an important
decision, and application deadlines are not far off. GGC has something to offer all students and we look
forward to sharing our campus at Open House.”
Seating is limited and registration is required. High school seniors and juniors can register online at
www.ggc.edu/openhouse.
GGC is the #5 top public Southern regional college, according to the 2014 U.S. News & World Report Best
Colleges. It also is a College of Distinction and a 2014 Military Friendly School.
