Dressed in traditional attire and toting paper fans,
ukuleles and wooden clogs, more than 100 Primrose preschoolers from the
Lawrenceville area will join more than 35,000 children across the country in
celebrating their unique cultures on September 20th. After studying several
cultures for the past month, the children will participate in a costume parade,
enjoy ethnic food and join hands to sing “It’s a Small World” and other songs
as they celebrate and embrace the cultures they have learned about.  “Children who develop an appreciation at an
early age for other cultures and traditions develop into caring, generous
adults who love their community and respect others,” said Tanisha Turner,
franchise owner.

Celebrating Cultures is part of the Balanced Learning®
curriculum, offered exclusively to families at Primrose Schools. The program
includes character building components that teach children the importance of
helping others and being involved in the community. In partnership with The
Music Class®, an award winning, international music Education Company, the
Rhythm and Notes® music curriculum will complement the Celebrating Cultures
event by adding a rich library of music and companion classroom activities
