Catherine Michelle Vogt

This week, Catherine Michelle Vogt of Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology is in Washington, D.C. for a Student Leadership Summit hosted by Bank of America. She is one of 225 community-minded high school juniors and seniors selected for Bank of America’s Student Leaders Program. Summit activities include a service learning project and a series of interactive workshops, including Capitol Hill briefings and sessions on financial education and leadership development skills. In addition to the Leadership Summit, Catherine received a paid eight-week summer internship at the East Lake Foundation.

 

Catherine will attend University of Dayton this fall. During high school she participated in the National Spanish Honor Society. Her volunteer work has been with the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center as an instructor's assistant; Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) fundraiser; and Fort Yargo State Park.
