Bake Sale Paid Off as Local Primrose Students Raised $407 for Can-A-Thon

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (November 7th) – Demonstrating their commitment to giving to others, Primrose School of Five Forks Explorer students held a school bake sale to earn money for their upcoming shopping trip for the 11 Alive Can-a-Thon.  Their efforts help to raise $407, all of which will be used towards their upcoming field trip to the local Snellville Publix.

Giving back to the community was a major focus of the annual bake sale, as well as a key component of the Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® system, which blends teacher-directed and child-initiated activities with special emphasis on character development. The Caring and Giving program is a nationwide initiative, with participation from more than 270 Primrose Schools across the country and helps students understand the value of generosity and creates a hands-on approach to math, nutrition and planning skills.
