Woman Stabbed to Death in Unincorporated Lawrenceville Home

GCPD says the 64 year old woman's car was found in a parking lot at Sugarloaf Mills Mall.

A woman was reportedly killed in her home outside the Lawrenceville city limits late Wednesday night.

At about 10:45pm, Gwinnett County Police were called to a home at 1403 Alamein Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville. When they arrived, officers found a woman dead from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was identified as 64 year old Parviz Moledina.

According to police, Moledina lived alone. GCPD Cpl. Jake Smith said the woman's car, a silver 2007 Volvo station wagon, was missing from the home.

Early Thanksgiving morning, GCPD officers found Moledina's car in a parking lot at Sugarloaf Mills Mall, formerly Discover Mills Mall. Officers conducted surveillance for several hours on the vehicle and inside the mall, however no suspects were located.

Investigators do not have any information about suspects or motivation for the crime. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Homicide Unit detectives at 770-513-5300.
