Lawrenceville Patch has learned two Gwinnett County Public Schools are currently on lockdown. Here is the official message from Jorge Quintana, spokesman for GCPS:

Collins Hill HS and Walnut Grove ES are currently in a lockdown due to
police activity in the community. Although this is not a school-related
incident, the schools were placed in lockdown as a precaution, following
school safety protocols.
