Sugarloaf Parkway Extension Now Open to Drivers
The newly added stretch of roadway in Lawrenceville, Ga. goes from West Campbell Road to SR 316.
Drivers have a new option for their ride home tonight.
The extension of Sugarloaf Parkway officially opened to motorists Monday afternoon.
The SPLOST funded project extends the roadway from West Campbell Road to SR 316. It also includes two of the four ramps at the 316 interchange.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday at the site.
This is phase 1, section 3 of the Sugarloaf Extension project. The plan is to eventually extend Sugarloaf Parkway up to the Mall of Georgia in Buford.
