Meet Moore Middle School's First Principal
Lamont Mays says he's excited for the first school year at Lawrenceville's newest middle school.
Moore Middle School will open it's doors in August as the newest middle school in Lawrenceville. It will be part of the Central Gwinnett cluster and help relieve Richards Middle School, which is currently the only middle school in the cluster.
Lawrenceville Patch sat down for a one-on-one interview with Moore's first principal, Lamont Mays, less than one month into his first year as a principal. Previously, Mays served as an assistant principal at Osborne and Hull Middle Schools.

Congratulations Mr. Mays, as you have embarked on a very important journey. I just told a young man last night (who needed a "nudge"), "I am an educational snob." Education is the key...............to everything! I continue to pray that parents and children today will learn and understand its importance and necessity. Do not depend on anyone to educate your child; you must be an ACTIVE participant.
