Lawrenceville Woman Arrested for Murder

Early in the morning on Saturday July 21st, Gwinnett County Police were called to a home on the 1500 block of Park Grove in unincorporated Lawrenceville. They were called to the home just before 4am. Officers thought they were going there to investigate a death from cardiac arrest, however, they later arrested 63 year old Hannah Myling Chung.

When officers arrived to the home, they were told by a Gwinnett paramedic that the victim, 63 year old Young Chung, was dead and that he had a small gunshot wound to the back of his head.

Two other adults were at the home with Hannah at the time of Young's death. There's no report on their relationships to the victim or their involvement, if any, with the crime.

and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a crime.

She was taken to the Gwinnett County Detention Center where she is being held without bail.
