Fire Destroys Van, Trailer in Lawrenceville

A fire off Springtime Court was reported inside the garage of a Lawrenceville home.

A fire destroyed a high-top van and pull-behind trailer at a home in Lawrenceville early Thursday.

At around 4:50 a.m., a resident of a home off the 2800 block of Springtime Court reported flames were coming from a vehicle and trailer inside the garage, according to the news release from Gwinnett Fire spokesman Tommy Rutledge.

The garage was detached and located behind the main house, which was not damaged by the fire. The fire was knocked down at 5:09 a.m., but not before scorching the grass, fence and miscellaneous items in the garage.

The exact cause of the fire is undetermined under investigation by the fire department. No injuries were reported.
