The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department is currently hiring for a Deputy Sheriff Senior. The person in this position will be a fully certified Peace Officer. They will be responsible for performing duties in an assigned division of the department including court services, civil process, administration, support services and field detention.

A High School Diploma or GED is required. However there is a 3% pay incentive for officers with an Associate’s degree and a 6% pay incentive for officers with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.  

Applicants must have at least one year of prior law enforcement experience.
