Gwinnett's #1 Free networking group New Lawrenceville  has finally taken the steps to be a Non-profit organization.  New Lawrenceville's motto and efforts inlcude "Bringing Community Together".   Owner Michael Rumph started the networking group about 3 years ago as a social gathering for local businesses.   Each week the group grew and grew until its current membership of 313 members.   Originally there was not a format or objectives other than just having a good time and meeting other business owners.   As time progressed other members contributed their time and energy to expand the resources of the team.   Megan Walker of Purple Star Consulting was one of the largest contributors to the groups success for the past two years.  Her efforts pushed the group into the Social Media areana and created a HUGE BUZZ in the Cyber world.  The entire group of members as a whole sponsor & support several events throughout the calendar year.   This year is no exception.  Besides the bi-monthly meetings held at local Lawrenceville Establishments, they are organizing the 1st Annual St. Patrick's Day Festival - Business Expo and Job Fair in Downtown Lawrenceville, The Lawrenceville 2011 Trolley Tour of Homes and supporting Anthony & Francine Coston with Rita's Ice 3rd Annual Lawrenceville Fall Festival.  

For 2011, New Lawrenceville (NL) has a new look, including logo, banner and website all provided by NL MemberTatyana Ladd-Thomas   Mike’S Ad Shop "The Future of Marketing".  The group is no longer a one man show for owner Michael Rumph but a true Community Group with Community efforts.  He states;  "Now that we are non-profit, we can do a lot more to benefit everyone in the community".    New Lawrenceville Rewards is a new programing coming to the community soon and it too will prove to be a huge success for the City of Lawrenceville, a New Lawrenceville!
