Girl Scout Daisy Troop 2664 of the Blazing Star Service Unit, assisted by several older Girl Scouts in the service unit, posted the colors and led the Pledge of Allegiance at the Lawrenceville City Council Meeting on Monday, May 7, 2012.  

Prior to the City Council Meeting, the girls met with Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson in her office and asked questions about her position as mayor. The girls presented Mayor Johnson, a former Brownie Girl Scout, with Savannah Smiles Girl Scout Cookies and a 100th Anniversary Coffee Mug. She presented each girl with a pin that is worn by members of the Lawrenceville City Council.

During the City Council Meeting, the Mayor read and presented the 100th Anniversary Girl Scout Resolution to Mary Hughes, Membership Specialist, Dominique Hyatt and Gwendra Bemba, Co-Leaders of Troop 2664.
