Local Resident Represents Brenau University at GSU Mediation Tournament

Shanelle L. Todd from Lawrenceville represented Brenau University Friday, Oct. 12, at the second annual conflict resolution symposium at Georgia State University. The Brenau junior is a psychology major. She is mediation chair of BAMALS (Brenau Association of Mediators and Legal Scholars), the historian of the Psychology Club and a member of the Mock Trial Team. Todd is a graduate of Greenforest McCalep Chr istian Academy in Decatur, Ga. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Todd of Lawrenceville.

The Friday tournament featured two teams each from Brenau, Georgia State, Clayton State University, Middle Georgia College and Gainesville State College. The Brenau victory in the 10-team competition followed by one week another first-place finish among college and university teams from three states that participated in the 10th regional invitational tournament that Brenau hosted on its home campus in Gainesville, Oct. 5-6.
