Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) physician Dr. Stephen Szabo is among the nation’s Top Doctors for 2012 in a new listing by U.S. News & World Report.

There are 2,857 top oncologists on the list of U.S. News Top Doctors. These physicians are selected based on a peer nomination process. Dr. Szabo is board certified in oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York City, and completed his residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI. He completed a fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. His special interests include cancer genetics, breast malignancies, GI malignancies, and blood disorders.

Dr. Szabo is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
